Bittersweet Goodbyes and Welcoming Hellos

We recently said "Goodbye" to one of our house parents who moved to South Africa, but by God's grace we were immediately able to say "Welcome and Hello" to new house parents, Pastor Norman and his wife Debra. Along with his other responsibilities, Pastor Norman will work with Pastor Mike, another house parent, to lead the church that meets at Home of Hope. Debra is a teacher and is also trained in Christian counseling. God has gifted them so perfectly for their new roles.

Three Home of Hope students are now studying at University and three others reside off-campus while at boarding school or vocational training, coming back to Home of Hope only during their school breaks. This has allowed for six new children to join the Home of Hope family, bringing the number of children at Home of Hope full-time up to 14. It has been a joy to see them settling in and learning about the love of Jesus.

We praise God for His provision in quickly finding new house parents and for the opportunity to be a part of transforming the lives of the children He has brought to Home of Hope.

As Home of Hope grows, we are always looking for yearly sponsors for new children. Right now, we have sponsorship available for a 5-year-old and 2-year-old. Please reach out if interested.
